How to delete old TikTok reposts and keep recent ones
Clearing 2021 without touching last week: how to filter reposts by year, and what the dates actually mean.
In TikTok you can only scroll and remove one by one. In RepostZero, scan your profile, tap the years you want gone, and remove only those.
Why it’s tricky in TikTok
The Reposts tab is one long feed, newest first. Getting to 2021 means scrolling past everything since - and then removing each video individually.
Filtering by year in RepostZero
- Scan your profile. You’ll see the full count and a year range.
- Tap one or more years under Your Reposts (Pro). Only those reposts are selected.
- Untick anything you still want, then tap Remove.
RepostZero removes reposts for you, at a safe pace, on your iPhone.
A note on dates
TikTok doesn’t expose the date you reposted something - only the date the original video was posted. Year filters therefore work on the video’s date, which in practice tracks closely with when most people reposted it.
Questions people ask
Can I keep certain creators?
Yes - untick their reposts before you start; a creator filter is on the roadmap.
Is filtering free?
Year filters are part of Pro. On Free you can still untick reposts one by one.
